Last night at the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Kentucky, UFC presented “UFC on Versus 3: Sanchez vs. Kampmann” to a total estimated crowd of 8,319. The company handed out a total of $200,000 in bonuses for the “Fight of the Night” (Diego Sanchez vs. Martin Kampmann), “Submission of the Night” (Brian Bowles for his guillotine win over Damacio Page), and for “Knockout of the Night” (Shane Roller over Thiago Tavares).

Kampmann and Sanchez engaged in a three-round bloody slugfest which had both fighters thinking that they had won the decision that ultimately went to Sanchez. Each fighter received an additional $60,000 for their efforts.

For the second time in as many fights against Damacio Page, Brian Bowles once again secured a victory via guillotine choke at 3:30 of the first round. The submission was worth an additional $40,000 bonus for “Submission of the Night.”

Despite being out-boxed in the first round by Tavares, Shane Roller scored the “Knockout of the Night” which came with an additional $40,000.
