Anchor Bay Home Entertainment has added a few noteworthy items to the list of special features for the Blu-ray release of The King’s Speech, which is scheduled for release on April 19.

I’m sure winning four Academy Awards including best picture, actor in a leading role (Colin Firth), directing (Tom Hooper) and original screenplay had plenty to do with the beefing up of this discs.

Here is a list of all the special features:

* Audio commentary with director Tom Hooper
* Making of Featurette: An Inspirational Story of an Unlikely Friendship
* Q&A with the director and the cast including Colin Firth
* Speeches from the real King George VI
* The real Lionel Logue highlights

The King’s Speech carries a suggested list price of $39.99, but can be had for $19.99 through Amazon.com. Click here to pre-order a copy today.
