Who Are The Creative Teams For The Upcoming Daredevil And Punisher Relaunches?

News, Rumors

Bleedingcool is reporting that the creative teams for Daredevil and Punisher, set to be announced at C2E2, have already been decided upon.

According to the site, Punisher will be falling into the hands of Greg Rucka (Detective Comics, Wonder Woman, 52, Action Comics) and artist Marco Checchetto (Amazing Spider-Man, Daredevil), while Daredevil is getting All Star writer Mark Waid (Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four, The Flash, 52, Irredeemable, Incorruptible, JLA, you name it, he’s aced it) and artist Paolo Rivera (Amazing Spider-Man, Fantastic Four).

Can I get a “Winning”?

Seriously, yesterday I was talking about Daredevil’s need for an overhaul, and then today the rumors persist that he’s going to be in Mark Waid’s hands? That’s the kind of overhaul I’m talking about!

And as for Punisher, he needs a non-superhero writer, and guess what Rucka does best? That’s right, the human aspect as been displayed during any of his Bat franchise runs.

Both of these should be incredibly interesting.
