For a long time the prediction has been that Jon Jones had the traditional sportsman charisma to crossover in a way that the scary Brock Lesnar, the dishevelled Chuck Liddell or the French Georges St. Pierre couldn’t. Fresh off an appearance on “Good Morning America,” this prediction seems ever more bang on the morning with the news that Jones will become the first fighter to appear on a mainstream late night talk show, with the new UFC Light Heavyweight Champion appearing on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” this Thursday.
No doubt much of Leno’s interest will be centered on Jones’ remarkable bout of crime fighting on Saturday.
