“The Dean of Mean” Keith Jardine gets a second shot at the big leagues next Saturday after answering the call to replace Mike Kyle against Gerard Mousasi on Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Daley. Jardine has recently pulled himself out of an alarming career slump that saw him lose five in a row, winning his past two fights. Mousasi is also coming into the fight on the back of two victories, having put losing the Strikeforce light heavyweight title to King Mo behind him by becoming the Dream champion. If Jardine is to be competitive against Mousasi he will have to show greater punch resistance than he has in recently.
