Carl Froch has confirmed that he has given up his attempts to bring his Super Six Semi-Final match against Glen Johnson to his hometown of Nottingham, telling Livefight that he would be facing Johnson in New Jersey on June 4th. After not fighting in England since his controversial points victory over Andre Dirrell in 2008 Froch had been keen to unpick the tournament contract that stipulated the semi-finals take place in America. The fight will now take place at the Broadwalk Hall in Atlantic City and in the US will be broadcast by the tournament organisers Showtime . Froch has said he hopes to reach a deal with major British boxing broadcaster Sky Sports to have them show the first of his match of the Super Six.
