Dana White In Attendance At Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Daley

News

In a surprise move Dana White confirmed on his twitter that he will be in attendance at tonight’s Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Daley event, the first since Zuffa purchased Strikeforce. The UFC President had in previous comments on the purchase suggested that he would take a more hands off approach and avoid antagonising former adversaries by attending the events in person.

In a less surprising development Zuffa denied credentials to Loretta Hunt, Josh Gross and Sherdog.com all of whom have been barred from UFC events for some time. The exclusion of Hunt is the most notable as she was covering the event on behalf of CBS, the very network that owns the event’s broadcaster Showtime. As she won’t be at cageside CBS has scrapped plans to carry a liveblog on its website.

No wonder even Dana White is starting to knowingly smile at the cliche ‘business as usual’.
