Guilty pleasures – we all have them. And when it comes to movies, guilty pleasures aren’t just warranted, they’re encouraged.
While there are those who may make a bitter beerface when a friend or acquaintance names off some of their favorites, don’t feel discouraged. Not all guilty pleasures are created equal. Don’t ask me why, but whenever I come across The Legend of Billie Jean on TV, I have to finish it. Maybe it’s because it was directed by Matthew Robbins of Dragonslayer fame. Or it could be because I was brainwashed into believing that Helen Slater and Christian Slater were really siblings. And of course you can’t hear Pat Benatar’s “Invincible” and not think about the giant Billie Jean figure catching fire and falling over.
Getting back to the point, we all have guilty pleasures. And doing a little scouring I found a few deals on some titles that I think are worthy of that distinction. Enjoy.
