Latino Review has some details on what could be spoilers for Zack Snyder’s Superman film, Superman: Man of Steel. Nothing has been confirmed or denied, so at best these can really be considered rumors which LR claims to have come from a reliable source.
Among the details:
— You will see JOR-EL and his wife, Lara.
— Daniel Day-Lewis was looked at for JOR-EL and not the villain.
— Krypton will not be a crystal planet like the Donner film; this Krypton will PROBABLY look like the Coruscant skyline from Star Wars.
— The Kryptonian villainess is not URSA…Well sort of. The villainess is FAORA
What does this mean? At this point I’d say not to put too much trust into this, as LR has done the “April Fool’s” trick with similar things before, so at best one could say this would be something that is unverified information from an anonymous source. It could be correct, considering Diane Lane has said this covers an origin story from “infancy and so on.”
With Michael Shannon recently coming aboard as General Zod, and his related comments, Man of Steel is shaping up to be rather interesting so far.
