Ten years after Tim Burton remade Planet of the Apes comes James Franco starring in a prequel of sorts, Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Showing the origins of the world originated in Planet of the Apes starring Charlton Heston, the film stars James Franco as a scientist working on a cure for Alzheimer’s that discovers something beyond that.
Rise of the Planet of the Apes is scheduled for release August 5, 2011
