According to JoBlo.com, Thomas Jane is joining Sylvester Stallone and Walter Hillin Headshot.
“He’s a hitman, I’m a cop, and we’re just opposite in every f*cking way, and we need each other to get this job done. And of course I’m like, ‘As soon as this job’s over, I’m going to take you to jail, you know, you’re a killer.'” Jane has been quoted as saying. The podcast with Jane officially confirming in is scheduled for release Wednesday, April 20th.
What does it mean? I like this casting. Jane is underrated when it comes to acting chops and his Punisher film was the best of the three that managed to get made. He’s also no stranger to action films, either, and has shown on Hung that he can be quiet funny when given the material. He’ll be the Jim Belushi to Stallone’s Schwarzenegger, most likely. With Stallone and Hill this is shaping up to be a good, R-rated action film on paper.
