Two of our Brightest Day returnees fall in this issue.
First, Boston Brand is on the receiving end of the Boomerang that Captain Boomerang was to throw for his White Lantern mission, sacrificing himself to save Dove’s life. He later sacrificed what he had left, the White Ring, to bring back Alec Holland.
When the Elementals emerged good as new, including Aquaman’s returned hand, there was someone missing. Shiera Hall is gone again, she remains the wind and Carter Hall, Hawkman, is once again alone in the world. Alone and very, very angry.
