With Steve Carell now officially gone from The Office, the writers are coming up with increasingly tantalizing storylines and the hints of a major one might have been revealed in last week’s episode.
When Michael said that he knew a secret about Phyllis for the last 20 years and she later revealed that she gave a baby away, this was followed up with Erin saying that she wished she knew who her birth mother was.
It is being speculated that the next major Office storyline could be that Phyllis is Erin’s mother.
