Supremacy MMA Offers Unique Take On Video Game Mixed Martial Arts

News

Supremacy MMA is slated for release 10, June 2011, on Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. The unique fighter takes MMA out of the Octagon and puts it in the type of real life locations you’d more likely see in Tekken and Street Fighter. Developed by 505 Games and Kung Fu Factory Supremacy MMA aims to be the missing link between such arcade fighters and MMA simulations, with the official release talking of ‘bone crunching finishing moves’ and “fast-and-furious gameplay and underground aesthetics”. The game will feature real life the first ever female fighters in MMA gaming history and legendary fighters Jens Pulver and Jerome Lebanner.

And has recently been announced former WBC Muay Thai Champion and current Strikeforce World Grand Prix Alternate Shane Del Rosario as Downloadable Content,  available for free when the game is purchase in the UK from GAME. Likewise veteran featherweight Bao Quach will be available for free if you buy the game from Amazon.  Other downloadable content includes additional location for fights including a slaughter house or strip club. No really.

A Comics Nexus original, Will Cooling has written about comics since 2004 despite the best efforts of the industry to kill his love of the medium. He now spends much of his time over at Inside Fights where he gets to see muscle-bound men beat each up without retcons and summer crossovers.
