For those who were upset about MTV deciding to take the Jersey out of the Jersey Shore in favor of a sunnier location, this apparently is no longer the case.
MTV.com has confirmed that Snooki, the Situation and the rest of their tanned and toned crew will leave the cool Jersey spring to go to Miami for season two — but that’s just where things will start.
After Florida, the cast will head back to their original Seaside Heights house for more “party-hopping, bass-thumping, emotion-filled escapades.”
“It’s official, the ‘Jersey Shore’ cast began filming Season 2 in Miami,” said an MTV spokesperson. “Once the boardwalk heats back up, the series will return to the Jersey Shore to complete the season.”
The new season is set to premiere Thursday, July 29, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.
