Saw this story over on DC Source, and had to share it. In the upcoming, Green Lantern: Emerald Knights, one of my all time favorite wrestlers is going to be making his animation debut.
Apparently, as part of DVD, there will be an episodic segment entitled “Mogo Doesn’t Socialize” Piper’s character, Bolphunga the Unrelenting, is looking to track down Mogo in hopes of engaging the famed warrior in a battle worthy of the villain.
When asked about the role, he said:
Green Lantern: Emerald Knights was your first-ever voiceover for animation. How was the experience?
RODDY PIPER: That was about as much fun as I could ever hope to have. You can really lose yourself in an animated role. There’s so much freedom, so much room for creativity. It’s a blast.
Green Lantern: Emerald Knights which will be available on DVD and Blu-Ray from Warner Home Video on June 7th, 2011.
