10 Thoughts on WWE Superstars 05.19.2011 — Evan Bourne, Drew McIntyre, Yoshi Tatsu

Reviews, Shows, Top Story, TV Shows

1.Kicking off Superstars with Matt Striker and Jack Korpela…so refreshing from Cole’s overzealous barking. All it’s missing is Josh Mathews.

2. Tyson. Kidd’s. HAIR.

3. Not a bad match between Kidd and Tatsu. They seemed to mirror their offense, but brought their own flair at the same time. And Michael Hayes added a nice little touch throughout the entire match, especially at the end.

4. I simply adore Santino Marella. He’s the comedy WWE shoots for, but he’s actually got the goods to back it up. Which is odd, for them.

5. Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder…WORKS. The two emulate each other, feed off each other, and look damn good doing it. Santino and Kozlov bring the humor; Zack and Curt bring the action. The finish wasn’t what I desired, but it was entertaining nonetheless.

6. With the Over the Limit preview, what do you guys think of the storylines and card for this Sunday?

7. What ever happened to Drew McIntyre? He was being shoved down my throat Cena-status, and now I forget he works for the company.

8. Oh, Evan. I’m perpetually impressed by this man. It seemed for a hot minute that they were going to push him, when he tagged with Cena for a main event. But then he was injured, and that’s all she wrote. MAKE IT HAPPEN.

9. Bourne has a better pitch kick (dancer terminology…sorry) than I ever did. And my nickname as a dancer was Gumby.

6. Random Thought of the Week: I report on WWE frequently. I talk about EXW constantly. TNA…is happening? Anyway. These three companies intersect on May 29th in Phoenix, AZ (yes, a shameless plug!). Bill DeMott and Tommy Dreamer are visiting EXW on that day, for the second and third time, respectively. Told you they were something to be taken seriously. How on earth could you doubt me?
