Brett Rogers Cut From Strikeforce After Arrest For Domestic Violence

News

Strikeforce heavyweight Brett Rogers has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his wife. It is claimed that the man who famously challenged Fedor Emelianenko on the Russian’s Strikeforce debut, started hitting and choking his wife after arguing with her. Reports from FOX9 in Milwaukee  state that the couple’s child was present and tried to intervene to protect their mother. Rogers has been charged with three felonies and is due in court tomorrow, having been released on $100,000 bail. His employers Zuffa have responded by cutting the fighter that featured in the co-main event of Strikeforce: Overeem vs Werdum, losing to Josh Barnett in Strikeforce World Heavyweight Grand Prix.
