Suits Episode 1-2 Review: Errors and Omissions

Reviews, Shows

Suits takes an interesting turn from the usual USA drama in that the second episode continues to focus on office politics. Normally, we’d see a subsidence in meaningful character interactions in order to focus on the procedural part of the show. While we do have a case–some squabbling over a patent–it’s clearly not the center of the episode. Instead, the case is used to put Mike in a difficult position as he tries to appease Harvey and deal with Lewis, who is basically the stereotypical jackass. My only concern is whether the writers can keep this up for an entire season, but so far, it looks like the show has more meat on it than expected.

Score: 8.7/10
