Willamy “Chiquerim” Freire has withdrawn from “DREAM: Japan GP Final” fight against Tatsuya Kawajiri after DREAM officials announced earlier that Freire’s injury is quite severe and that the fighter could have torn ligaments in his hand.

Drew Fickett, a UFC veteran, will be taking his place.

The event takes place at Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo on July 16th and as of yet, there are no plans for the show to be broadcast in North America.
