After BJ Penn and Jon Fitch both took to Twitter demanding a rematch of their UFC 127 encounter which ended in a draw, it looks as though we now have an answer as to why UFC’s Joe Silva doesn’t want to see that fight again.
UFC officials are apparently set to offer a fight at UFC 137 that would see the former UFC Lightweight and Welterweight champion BJ Penn taking on former WEC Welterweight champion Carlos Condit.
UFC 137 is planned for October 29th in Las Vegas and will be headlined by a fight between UFC Welterweight champion Georges St. Pierre and former Strikeforce Welterweight champion Nick Diaz.
