Phil Davis Injured, Pulls Out of UFC 133 Bout Against Rashad Evans

MMAFighting.com has learned from sources close to the situation that Phil Davis was forced to pull out of the UFC 133 main event against Rashad Evans due to a knee injury. The cause of the injury is unknown at the time.

UFC has yet to announce the new main-event for the card. They were unavailable to comment on whether or not they are trying to find a replacement for Rashad Evans to face in the main event or if they’ll just promote co-main event bout Rich Franklin vs. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira to the top of the card.
