Former Pride Welterweight Grand Prix champion Kazuo Misaki, once considered among the top middleweight fighters in that company, is changing weight classes and has signed an exclusive contract to fight in Strikeforce’s welterweight division.

Misaki won the Pride Welterweight Grand Prix title in 2006, defeating Dan Henderson and Denis Kang on his way to the title. Misaki has a career record of 24-11-2
