Tito Ortiz Takes UFC 133 Fight with Rashad Evans

News

After initially turning down the opportunity for a rematch with Rashad Evans at UFC 133 in Philadelphia on August 6th, former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz has had a change of heart.

Late last night, UFC President Dana White posted a message on Twitter regarding the match, which Phil Davis had to withdraw from due to injury.

The fight will mark the first time that Ortiz and Evans have faced on another since a draw at UFC 73.

There were also reports that Lyoto Machida had been offered the bout, but had declined it as well citing the lack of preparation necessary.
