WWE Working On New Steve Austin DVD

Disc Announcements, News

Yesterday evening, Stone Cold Steve Austin took to Twitter to announce that World Wrestling Entertainment is currently in production of a final DVD release of his career. “Very in depth look from start to finish,” Austin tweets.

From the way Austin describes it on his feed (@steveaustinBSR) it looks to be the ultimate retrospective of one of biggest wrestling personalities to ever step inside the squared circle.

Steve Austin will be heavily involved with the project and has requested that his fans ask him questions on Twitter.

I want to hear questions from the fans. I will get an address for questions tomorrow. This will be the be all, end all DVD collection.

And here are some of Austin’s replies:

(This DVD set better be more than 3 discs. A legend like you deserves it)
Should be 4 or 5 discs.

(What was going on with you during your heel turn?)
Good question. That will be answered by me on the DVD.

(PLEASE say this is going to include War Games from Wrestle War 92!)
I will keep that in mind.

Again, thanks go to WWE DVD News, who is on the ball once again when it comes to breaking developments with upcoming WWE DVD titles.

I love the direction that WWE is going in for future retrospectives. The Greatest Rivalries: Shawn Michaels vs. Bret Hart set is something different for a change, and from the sound of things this final retrospective on the Texas Rattlesnake has the potential to be the most complete superstar release that WWE Home Video has produced. It also may explain why the rivalry compilation on Steve Austin and The Rock has been postponed.

What do you think? What are the matches and segments that you want included? Also, what questions would you ask Stone Cold Steve Austin regarding his career?

He's told that the position is his until he's dead or if "The Boss" can find somebody better. I expect the best and I give the best. Here's the beer. Here's the entertainment. Now have fun. That's an order!
