Mac Danzig Seeks Revenge Against Matt Wiman at UFC Live 6

News

At UFC 115 last June, Mac Danzig was a part of one of the most controversial decisions in recent MMA refereeing when he was mistakenly ruled unconscious while in a guillotine choke in his match against Matt Wiman.

The two were set for a rematch at UFC Fight Night 22, but injuries kept them both out of that encounter. Finally, Danzig has an opportunity to avenge the loss (hopefully he won’t have Yves Lavigne as a referee again!) at UFC Live 6, which is expected to take place October 1st in Washington, D.C..

Each fighter have respectable results in UFC, with Danzig going 3-4 in the organization, although he hasn’t fought since his KO of Joe Stevenson last December. Wiman has gone 7-3 in UFC since his time on “The Ultimate Fighter 5”.
