Chris Leben Facing Mark Munoz in the UK

News

Chris Leben, despite not receiving the main event slot against Rashad Evans at UFC 133 that he asked for after Phil Davis had to withdraw due to injury (the slot has since been filled by Tito Ortiz), UFC have given him another big main event bout. This November, UFC looks to head back to England with UFC 138 and Chris Leben’s main event opponent will be Mark Munoz.

This match will mark the first time that UFC has used the five-round non-title main event in their history.

Leben is coming off of a spectacular dismantling of Wanderlei Silva at UFC 132. Munoz picked up a unanimous decision victory over Demian Maia on the same card.
