The 2011 Emmy Awards Nominations

Reviews, Shows

The 2011 Emmy Awards are less than two months away, which means television nerds like myself will spend the summer discussing the nominations and trying to make predictions. Last year I ran the Couchtime Emmy Contest. which was super fun and I’ll be doing it again this year. The rules are pretty simple:

  1. Email me your Emmy predictions for the 15 categories listed below by September 17th.
  2. If there’s a tie, I’ll put names in a hat and pick a winner.
  3. If you win, you get a gift card! Yay! The place and amount for the gift card are TBD, and you’ll have to send me your mailing address in order to receive it.

Now, more fun stuff: Allison and I will be doing a few video blogs where we discuss the Emmy nominations and give our personal predictions. You know Allison from her Saturday Night Live and Big Brother posts, and she’s one of the few people I know who watches about as much TV as I do. In our first video, which we’ll be doing soon, we’re going to talk about the nominations in comedy categories. So stay tuned!
