After hearing about Kahleem Poole-Tejada’s (aka Kahl-One) trailer for his documentary New York Mixed Martial Arts, I was ecstatic to hear that the film will be screened next month, first in Rochester and another just a few blocks from my home (!) at the Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden in Astoria, Queens. We will definitely be hitting that up for certain. Hopefully, the recognition and positive reactions from the fight community and fans will be able to pay the expenses for submitting the film to festivals and seeking distribution.
