The entertainment event of 1985 was when Jackie Gleason revealed that he had most of the early Honeymooner segments that had aired on his variety show before it was spun off into its own series. Fans rejoiced that they would finally get to see more of Ralph, Norton, Alice and Trixie after spending decades delighting in the “Classic 39” episodes. The 68 Lost episodes became a hit on Showtime. Now the episodes have been further restored. The Honeymooners: The Complete Lost Episodes 1951-1957 gets released on October 4 from MPI Home Video. Bonus features will include behind the scenes featurettes, interviews, commercials and skits.
