Jakks & Impact Wrestling released the following statement on the Kurt Angle exclusive figure to benefit the Wounded Warriors Project:
JAKKS has learned that the agreement announced at Comic Con between TNA and Wounded Warrior Project for the limited edition TNA Wounded Warrior figure has been cancelled. As a result, the figure that JAKKS was scheduled to produce cannot move forward. JAKKS Pacific is disappointed with this unfortunate turn of events.
I, being a HUGE Kurt Angle fan, and the owner for each of his figures, am very disappointed by this. Rumor going around is that Wounded Warrior pulled out due to the proceeds they get from WWE by way of the special shirt for The Rock. Let’s hope Jakks finds a way to get this figure out somehow.
