AJC.com is reporting that Heath Slater is being accused of assaulting a female security guard during Wrestlemania week. The reports are that he grabbed her by the neck and attempted to bring her back to his hotel room. She claims that this incident is the reason for her recent back pain, and that she was reassured by her supervisors that they would have it taken care of. When nothing happened, she decided to personally contact an attorney.
However, an anonymous source within the wrestling industry stated that Slater was not involved, and was actually with his fiance when the incident allegedly took place. The Atlanta Police are investigating the claims, and have not filed any charges yet.
A WWE spokesman released a statement saying, “The alleged victim is making claims against Slater individually, and it’s being investigated. This has nothing to do with the WWE.â€
