Nam Phan Replaces Josh Grispi Against Matt Grice at UFC 136

Matt Grice will have to prepare for a new opponent at UFC 136 as Josh Grispi has been pulled from the bout. No reason was given for his removal.

“The Ultimate Fighter 12” alum, Nam Phan, will step in to replace him.

Phan has lost both of his bouts in UFC, however, his first fight in the organization was a highly controversial split decision loss to Leonard Garcia. His most recent loss was to Mike Brown at UFC 133.

UFC 136 features a UFC Lightweight Championship bout between title holder Frankie Edgar and number one contender Gray Maynard. Also, UFC Featherweight champ, Jose Aldo, defends against Kenny Florian.

UFC 136 takes place October 8th in Houston, Texas.
