It seems that Raw did a 3.73 rating (5.04 million viewers) to open the show, but ended with a 3.41 rating. It is uncommon for the show to draw in more viewers at the beginning, and is believed to be a result of SummerSlam’s buzz. It is also being speculated that the drop is due to Cena not being hyped for the main event. But I have to wonder how much the scores of commercial breaks factored in.
