Brock Lesnar Announces Comeback – 100% Healthy And Title Hungry [Video]

Many have speculated on whether or not Brock Lesnar could beat diverticulitis a second time, this after having over a foot of his large intestine removed. Now the former UFC and NCAA Wrestling Champion has announced the start of his comeback…while also describing bullets and eating jerky. Kind of an odd pairing, frankly.

Discussing his predicament, the following has been transcribed from the video:

What’s new in the life of Brock Lesnar? Well, recently I went under the knife and had surgery for my diverticulitis. I feel like a new man, I feel great, healthy, strong – I feel like I used to feel.

Right now [it’s] one day at a time for me. My future, I believe there’s still a bright future in the UFC for me. My health is a hundred percent. I feel great, my motivation is there and I want to get on the map again, I want to become the UFC Heavyweight Champion again and I believe I will do that.

Fusion Ammunition spokesperson and MMA superstar Brock Lesnar declares “he’s back.” After a second bout with diverticulitis and surgery in May, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion is ready to get back to training and another appearance in the octagon. Before he begins training again, Lesnar stormed the prairies of North Dakota for a prairie dog hunt south of Bismarck, ND.

The bluebird skies and moderate temperatures made for ideal conditions as the former champ tag teamed with his brother Chad for a day of varmint hunting. The two shot several calibers from the 17HMR to .223, .22-250, and a 50 caliber Barrett BMG at prairie dogs ranging from 50 to 400 yards.

“Prairie dog hunting is not only fun, but it’s a cure for the summertime blues” says Lesnar. “I get great practice with my firearms, ammunition, and optics… I can’t wait for the fall whitetail season to begin.”

Asked when MMA fans will see the heavyweight contender in the octagon again, the former champ replied “sooner than later.”

Lesnar hasn’t fought since an October 2010 loss to Cain Velasquez. He was set to fight Junior dos Santos in a matchup of The Ultimate Fighter coaches, but had surgery on May 26th to repair his colon.
