Pulse Wrestling Wrestler of the Week: WWE’s Alberto Del Rio

Columns

Every Friday, we will be naming a noteworthy wrestler who deserves praise for his work throughout the week. Readers and writers alike are welcome to state who they believe deserves to be Pulse Wrestling’s Wrestler of the Week.

This week’s Wrestler of the Week award goes to the new WWE Champion, Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase on a weakened CM Punk, and won his first WWE Championship. It is the first major belt that Del Rio has held in the United States, and the win make him the first ever Mexican-born WWE Champion. It is also of note that this month marks the one-year anniversary of Del Rio’s debut in WWE.
