DC Source reported that on Friday, writer Geoff Johns and artist Jim Lee appeared together on Sirius XM’s “Geek Time” to discuss the launch of DC Comics-The New 52 and their first ever collaboration — JUSTICE LEAGUE. During the interview, they revealed the identity of the series’ first villain. DARKSEID!!!
Skitch Commentary: Not gonna lie, I was really hoping it would be Starro, but hey, you don’t get much bigger than Darkseid. I just hope this version of Darkseid gets to be a major threat.
Come to think about it, I haven’t read a lot of great Darkseid’s over the years. Even Great Darkness Saga doesn’t really hold up. I did love Morrison’s Rock of Ages story though.
