News

After strong performances at UFC 134 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, three fighters walked away with big bonuses for their efforts on the card.

Antonio Rodrigo Noguera won “Knockout of the Night” for his first round KO of heavyweight prospect Brendan Schaub while Edson Barboza and Ross Pearson each earned $100,000 “Fight Night” bonuses for their split decision encounter.

There was no submission victory on the card so no “Submission of the Night” bonus was awarded.

The bonuses handed out at UFC 134 are among the biggest in company history. High bonuses were handed out at UFC 129 ($129K) and UFC 100 (UFC 100)

UFC 134 was the organization’s first show in Brazil in 13 years.
