One of my goals for Nexus is to make us a leader in information on digital comics. I am a huge advocate for them, and as part of that, I decided to put together a list of all the digital comics as they go on sale each week at Comixology.com.
Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any way of cut and pasting or printing the list from Comixology’s site, so I did this by hand, which took a few hours. So just a list, not a lot of commentary.
Well, okay, maybe a little…
I am thrilled that they added all twelve issues of Legion Lost, not to mention the original Secret Wars! Not the greatest comic ever, but I definitely get a nostalgia kick from it.
And also Hawk and Dove’s old mini-series featuring some great art by Rob Liefeld and co-written by Barbara Kesel, who I absolutely love from her work on Meridian. I read that mini-series a while back and loved it. That said, you can probably find the issues in dump bins for cheaper than 2 bucks an issue.
And of course the big news here is Justice League #1 which went on sale digitally August 31, 2011 at 2 P.M. I was a little disappointed in the fact that Flashpoint #5 did not do the same.
