Welcome to the Inside Pulse Wrestling Raw Report.  I am your host Rhett Davis and this will be my final Raw Report, but you can always catch my thoughts on Raw in The O’Really Report every Tuesday.  But enough about me, the show starts at 9/8 Central and I’ll be here with an update every commercial break.  Make sure to keep it here for the latest on all your Raw News.

As for the show tonight, many questions are still left to be unanswered.  Who sent the text?  What SmackDown stars will be on display tonight?  Will Nash attack Punk again?  What is in store next for Triple H and CM Punk?  Will del Rio be back this week?  Will we ever find out who the Anon GM is?  Tune in to see.

WWE Monday Night Raw Report 9/5/11

We start the show off with a recap of the entire Kevin Nash, CM Punk, Triple H saga.

After the very lengthy opening video package, The Cult of Personality rings and out come the Voice of the Voiceless, CM Punk.  Punk sits Indian Style as usual.  Punk says he has some information and he says that he is different.  He speaks, walks, and thinks differently.  Punk says he says things like he’s the best in the world.  He says this makes him a target.  In other words, he tends to piss a lot of people off.  Punk says maybe that’s why Truth interfered last week in his match.  Punk says he has to fight R-Truth tonight.  Punk says that he wants to kick Nash’s ass.  Punk says he doesn’t buy that Nash and Triple H are enemies.  He thinks Nash will be backing Triple H at Night of Champions.  Punk invites Kevin Nash to come out.  After a few minutes the nWo theme hits.

Kevin Nash has a mic and he says he doesn’t listen to Punk.  Nash says he fights whoever he wants, whenever he wants.  Nash says just like last week when he stuck Punk in the canvas.  Punk says Nash has more excuses than nicknames.  He rolls off some nicknames.  Nash says look at him and look at Punk.  He says that Triple H did Punk a favor taking Nash out of the match.  Nash says he would kill Punk.  Punk says the last time Nash was relevant was in 1994 when he won the title.  Punk says keep Hunter out of this.  Punk says no matter how many times he is knocked down, he’ll get up again.

Motorhead plays and out comes Triple H.  Nash says he’s tired of this and that Triple H should get rid of Punk; he’s a cancer.  Triple H walks into the ring.  Triple H says he would be inclined to agree to him getting dismissed.  Triple H says he has a film footage from the Staples Center.  He says he has a tape showing someone going in his office as Nash receives the text.  He says it was Kevin Nash.  Nash said he did what Triple H should have done.  He made WWE fun again.  Nash says that either Punk or he has to go.  Triple H says he has a problem with Nash.  Triple H says that he doesn’t like Punk, but Punk has never lied to him.  Triple H says he’s inclined to get rid of someone, but Nash cuts him off.  Nash says you’re going to pick him over me?  Nash says he’s Hunter’s friend; he’s known him for 20 years.  Kevin asks if it is about that push last week.  Nash says he got emotional last week; he thought friends could do that.  Nash asks what Hunter is going to do about it?  He pushes him a little.  Triple H punches Kevin in the jaw.  Triple H says they were friends, but Kevin, you’re fired.  Triple H walks out of the arena.  The crowd starts the ‘Na-na-na’ chants.  Punks walks over to Nash and says ‘Good Luck on your Future Endeavors.’

Commercials.

They recap the action that just happened before the commercial break.

We’re backstage and Nash is walking to a car and Johnny Ace gets in on the other side.

Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston are out and they have a somewhat combined entrance now.  AirBoom is their new team name.  The Great Khali and Jinder Mahal are their challengers.

Evan and Jinder start.  Jinder hits some knees to the midsection.  Evan hits a big Hurricanrana and follows up with some kicks to the legs.  Jinder hits a running knee to take down Evan.  Jinder hits a double arm suplex.  Khali tags in and hits Evan with a forearm.  He throws him in the corner and stretches his leg to kick Evan in the head.  Jinder tags in and chokes Evan in the ropes.  Jinder hits a slam before hitting some big knees to Evan.  Evan kicks Jinder and slow crawls to his partner.  Kofi tags in with the springboard forearm. He hits some fast kicks before setting up for the Boom Boom Drop.  Khali lowers the rope and Kofi goes over.  He throws Kofi back in.  Jinder holds Kofi, but Khali misses with the Chop and takes out Jinder.  Kofi kicks down Khali and tags in Evan who hits the AirBourne for the three count.

Winners:  AirBoom

In the back we see Alberto del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez in the back in a car.  They are walking towards the ring.

Kelly Kelly’s music hits and she’s going to be on commentary.

No. 1 Contender’s Match:  Eve Torres vs Beth Phoenix

They tie up and Beth powers Eve over.  Beth knocks her down again before they botch some amateur wrestling moves.  Beth throws Eve into the ring post shoulder first.  Beth pins Eve for a two count.  Beth kicks Eve down.  Beth misses a leg drop and Eve hits some kicks.  Eve hits a running flip on to Beth for a two count.  Beth hits a nasty Glam Slam for a three count.

Winner (and NEW No. 1 Contender):  Beth Phoenix

Natalya attacks Kelly post match and slams Kelly’s head on the ring apron.  The Divas of Doom stand tall in the ring.

Commercials.

The Rock has a 1 Million followers. Great.

Drew McIntyre and Christian are talking in the back.  Drew says he can see Christian was screwed.  Christian says he just needs one more chance.  ADR tells Drew to take a hike.  ADR says he was expecting to see Christian with the World title tonight.  ADR says that it was Cena’s fault he lost the title.  Christian calls his bluff and says that he was starting to like del Rio, but he would have called out Cena on his own terms if he had beef.  ADR says he did get hit with the AA last week a night before fighting Orton for the World Title.  He says that if it wasn’t for John Cena then they’d both be champions by now.

They show a video clip of Triple H’s new movie ‘Inside Out.’

Commercials.

We’re back and R-Truth is coming out.  Truth stops on the rampway and says that Punk starts the show off calling himself different.  Truth says he’s been speaking the Truth his entire life unlike Punk.  Truth says he should be a good R-Truth and buy his ticket for Night of Champions.  The Miz’s music hits and out comes The Miz.  Miz says he had an epiphany, he says he had one of those as a kid.  Miz says a manifestation, Truth says that comes after puberty right?  Miz says they know exactly what’s going on around here.  Miz says there’s a conspiracy.  Miz says they know Hunter is over his head being the COO.  He says he’s too busy worrying about his friends having air time instead of the top two talents on the shows.  Miz says he’ll do Hunter’s job for him.  At Night of Champions, they will challenge AirBoom for the tag titles.  Miz says Really?  That’s the title they chose for the tag champions?  Really?  Crowd is really getting into it.  Miz says it is the stupidest name he’s ever heard.  Truth says that’s as bad a sneaky fart.  Miz says what?  Truth says its a little bit of air… and then KaBoom!  Truth says he has ephanlee… Punk is about to get got.

Punk’s music hits.

R-Truth vs CM Punk

They tie up and Punk takes over.  Punk kicks Truth in the back and targets the legs.  Punk stomps on Truth’s abdomen.  Punk has a side headlock and Truth moves him into the corner.  Truth kicks Punk and slaps him around a little.  Truth takes him down in a side headlock. Punk whips Truth out of it.  Truth shoulder takes down Punk.  He dances a little before hitting the ropes before Punk hits a drop kick.  Truth rolls out. Punk hits a suicide dive and rolls Truth in.  Punk is distracted by Miz so Truth takes advantage.  Punk punches Truth, but Truth takes Punk down for a two count.  Truth locks in a side headlock, but Punk fights out only to be slid out of the ring.  Truth throws him back and slams Punk’s leg on the mat and brutalizing the knee/leg.  Truth taunts outside of the ring.  He runs back in to a roll-up for a two count.  Punk tries another pinning combination before Truth kicks Punk in the knee to take him down.  Truth starts hammering fists down on Punk.  Truth locks in a single leg Boston Crab.  Truth slams Punk’s knee down on the mat.  Punk gets up and they trade blows.  Punk hits a melee of moves before Truth slams Punk down.  Truth ascends the top rope, but Punk punches him in the face.  Punk chops Truth on the top rope before climbing up.  Punk is attempting a Superplex and nails it.  The referee begins the countdown, but they get up and Punk is taking control.  Punk hits the high knee in the corner into the bulldog.  Punk hits the springboard forearm.  Punk picks up Truth and attempts the GTS.  Truth gets out and hits the forward suplex for a two count.  Truth goes for the Axe Kick, but Punk moves and kicks Truth.  He goes to the ropes, but Miz grabs his foot.  Punk kicks Miz and Miz blows up until the referee throws him out.  Punk waves goodbye, but Truth attacks him.  Punk hits the GTS for the three count.

Winner:  CM Punk

Triple H’s music hits.  Punk has a mic and says that he doesn’t buy Hunter punching Nash earlier.  Is he supposed to believe that they aren’t in this together?  Triple H says he doesn’t care what he believes.  Hunter says he just changed their match.  Hunter says he won’t be satisfied with just pinning him.  Hunter says that the match at the PPV is No DQ.  Hunter says Punk better hope he gets everything out of his system or he might fire him.  Punk says hold up ass-assin.  Punk says he will agree to the stipulation if Triple H agrees to his stipulation.  When Punk wins will Triple H resign as the COO of the company?  Triple H agrees.

Curt Hawkins, Tyler Reks, and Wade Barrett are in the back.  Hawkins and Reks say they have something in mind.  Del Rio asks for a minute with Wade Barrett.  ADR tries to convince him to attack Cena tonight.  Wade says he has been around embarassing Cena since before ADR set foot in WWE.  Wade says watch what he does tonight.

In 2012, the WWE Network is starting.  An actual channel dedicated to WWE.

They recap Lawler/Otunga controversy from last week.

The ex-tag champs are in the ring and Jerry has a mic on the rampway.  Jerry says he never said they weren’t good athletes, he said they didn’t have any personality.  Lawler introduces his tag partner as the Long Island Iced Tea.

They show an awesome video package of Zack Ryder involving his show.

David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty vs Jerry Lawler & Zack Ryder

Zack and Mike start off.  Mike stomps away on Zack before tagging in Otunga.  They hits a tag combination in the corner.  Otunga chokes Zack in the ropes before the ref pulls him away.  Mike hits a kneelift while the ref is distracted.  David locks in a headlock before Zack tries to tag out.  David takes down Jerry before getting hit with a flapjack by Zack.  Jerry hits some fists and a dropkick before getting a two count.  Mike messed up the count, but Zack takes him out.  Jerry hits the drop fist, but Zack insists on the tag.  Zack tags in and hits the Rough Ryder for the three count.

Winners:  Zack Ryder & Jerry Lawler

ADR is talking to Dolph in the back and ADR says he’s an honest man.  ADR says there is a rumor that Vickie is about to dump him.  Dolph says there’s a rumor that ADR is scared of Cena, hence why he wasn’t there last week.  The Bella Twins come up and rub on ADR’s shoulders.  He asks for a minute.  ADR says that Vickie just wants a man who will fight for her.

Randy Orton vs Heath Slater

Orton attacks and throws Slater into the corner.  Orton stomps on Heath’s face and legs and everything else.  Orton hits a jumping knee drop on Heath’s face.  Slater rakes the eyes of Orton before hitting an enzuigiri.  Slater hits knees to the back of Orton.  Heath locks in a side headlock but then nails a spinebuster for a two count.  Slater locks the headlock on again.  Orton fights out and headbutts Slater.  Orton clotheslines Slater before hitting the scoop slam.  Orton snaps and sets up the second rope DDT.  Orton sets up the RKO and nails it.  1-2-3.

Winner:  Randy Orton

We go backstage and Zack Ryder is freaking out to John Cena because he won a match on Raw.  Cena says who wears sunglasses indoors?  He cocks an eyebrow before walking away.

Commercials.

We’re back and Cena’s music hits.  Cena directs the camera towards the audience before telling everyone Happy Labor Day.  He runs to the ring and grabs a mic.  They recap two weeks ago when ADR attacked John Cena.

John says that’s an interesting clip.  John says he’s upset as well because he’s been demanding ADR’s head on a plate.  John says he’s sure that Ricardo will come out and announce that ADR will not be able to fight tonight.  Ricardo comes out and announces Alberto del Rio.  ADR stands by his car and says that Cena doesn’t get it.  ADR says he’s trying to give Cena a fighting chance.  ADR says Rey is gone because of him.  He says he didn’t do that to Cena because he wanted to give John a fighting chance at Night of Champions.  ADR says he didn’t show up last week because he was trying to protect you.  ADR says he’s up here because he’s trying to protect him.  ADR says he can’t speak for these guys though.  Jack Swagger and Wade Barrett run down to the ring and work over Cena.  Dolph and Christian come out as well.  Alex Riley and Sheamus come in to even things up.  John Morrison makes it 4v4.  I smell a tag match.  Theodore Long walks out… what?  T-Lo says hold up playas.  Long says Hunter gave him the authority to intervene when necessary.  He announces the 8-Man Tag team Elimination Match.  Goodbye Raw Anon GM.

Sheamus, John Cena, John Morrison, & Alex Riley vs Wade Barrett, Jack Swagger, Christian, & Dolph Ziggler

Alex Riley hits an STO as we come back and he whips Wade into the rope, but Wade hits a slam for a two count.  Wade brings some forearms down on Riley’s chest before working him over in the corner.  Wade whips him to the other corner, but misses with the big boot in the corner.  Dolph and JoMo tag in.  Morrison hits a dropkick before that innovative standing backflip slam.  Morrison takes out the teammates before Christian distracts Morrison long enough for Dolph to lock in the Sleeper Hold.  Swagger tags in and locks in the Ankle Lock.

John Morrison is eliminated.

Vickie walks down beginning a…

Commercial.

We’re back and Dolph is stomping a mudhole in Riley in the corner.  Dolph hits a standing elbow drop.  Dolph locks in a side headlock.  Riley fights out, but Dolph takes advantage again.  Riley hits a big spinebuster.  He takes out the partners, but Dolph hits a Fame-Asser for a two count.  Dolph is blindtagged by Swagger and they trade words.  Swagger tries for the Ankle Lock, but Riley reverses out.  Swagger big boots Riley and hits the Vader Bomb and then locks in the Ankle Lock.  Alex Riley taps out.

Alex Riley is eliminated.

Sheamus starts in and he is brutalizing Swagger.  Swagger tags out to Wade.  Wade hits some big fists before Sheamus hits some big fists.  Wade hits a big knee to the abdomen.  Wade hits some knees to the face as he is trapped in the ropes.  He then hits a Big Boot to the face of Sheamus.  Wade locks in a side headlock, but Sheamus powers out.  He hits some clubbing blows before hitting a standing powerslam.  Sheamus starts hitting blows to the chest of Wade as he is caught in the ropes.  Sheamus hits a running kneelift on the apron.  Sheamus hits a flying shoulderblock to Wade Barrett.  He misses with the Brogue Kick, but Wade hits him in the abdomen with a kick.  Wade attempts the Pump Handle Slam, but Sheamus reverses into the Brogue Kick for the three count.

Wade Barrett is eliminated.

Christian runs in and hits a Spear for a two count.  Christian tries for the Killswitch, but Sheamus reverses.  Christian slaps Sheamus.  Sheamus snaps and chases him all over the arena leading to both of them getting counted out.

Sheamus and Christian are eliminated.

John Cena starts off against Swagger and he explodes with a splash in the corner before hitting a flapjack on Dolph.  John hits a fisherman suplex on Swagger, but Dolph drop kicks John.  Swagger covers for a two count.  Dolph tags in and stomps away on John Cena.  Dolph lets Cena gets up before nailing him with a punch to the eyes.  Dolph tags out and Swagger hammers away on Cena.  Swagger locks a armlock on Cena. Swagger throws him into the ropes before hitting him in the back as he recoils.  John fights back and hits the 5 Moves of Doom.  Dolph comes in and gets hit with the spinout backdrop.  Cena sets up for the Double 5 Knuckle Shuffle.  Cena sets up for the AA, but drops him to hit Dolph.  Swagger slams Cena down.  Swagger hits the Vader Bomb, but Dolph tags himself in.  They argue and Cena hits the AA on Dolph for the three count.

Dolph Ziggler is eliminated.

Jack Swagger locks in the Ankle Lock.  Cena counters it into the STF and Swagger taps out.

Jack Swagger is eliminated.

Alberto del Rio attacks post match and Cena reverses him and hits the Attitude Adjustment.  Ricardo Rodriguez attempts to help Alberto back up as Cena celebrates his victory in the ring.
