Ross Pearson Considering a Drop to Featherweight

News

Getting out of the lightweight division for the fringe contenders seems to be the newest trend, as featherweight isn’t as deep as lightweight. With a handful of fighters already making the drop like Kenny Florian, and others having seriously contemplated it like Frankie Edgar and Clay Guida, add TUF 9 winner Ross Pearson to the list of those considering making the cut.

From Pearson’s Twitter Feed:

Pearson has said that he only drops 10 pounds to make the 155 limit, so it’s certainly within the realm of possibility that he could make featherweight.
