By now, everyone knows that Kurt Angle was arrested over the weekend for a DUI. His attorney, Frank Smith, issued a statement maintaining the innocence of his client (obviously). In it, he claims that Angle was stopped for a “traffic infraction” and passed his breathalyzer test. He will also plead “not guilty”.
However, being booked for a DUI does not mean that alcohol had to be involved. This leaves the possibility that other substances were involved.
