BAMMA 7 to Air Prelims and Main Card Live on Facebook

In a great turn of events, Saturday’s BAMMA 7 show in Birmingham, England will be offered here in the US this weekend in a familiar manner. The preliminary and main card fights for the event will stream live on Facebook!

Also, after Saturday’s show, the event will be available here in the US on Hulu. Consider it “tape delay” if you will and it will make for an awesome day/night of fights on Saturday.

London, England – September 8, 2011 – Europe’s largest and most prominent Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) promotion, The British Association of Mixed Martial Arts (BAMMA), announced today that BAMMA 7 will be streamed live for free on Facebook for fans all around the World.

The Preliminary card will be headlined by Rob Sinclair vs Leonardo Santos for the World Lightweight title and will begin at 7.15pm, available for free for everyone. The main card will then be available for free from 9pm GMT for everyone outside of the UK and Canada. UK fans can watch the main card exclusively live on Syfy and Canadian fans can watch live on The Fight Network. Fans can register to watch the live broadcasts by going to Facebook.com/BAMMAUK and clicking LIKE.

BAMMA have also secured a deal with Hulu to air the main card via tape delay from Monday September 12th onwards.

The preliminary card starts on Facebook at 2 PM ET, while the main card is scheduled to begin at 4 PM ET.

UK fans can watch the BAMMA 7 Main Card exclusively live on Syfy.

Canadian fans can watch the BAMMA 7 Main Card live on The Fight Network.

In addition, ‘The Fight Professor’ Stephen Quadros will join the UK’s Malcom Martin as part of the BAMMA 7 Commentary team. BAMMA 7 takes place this Saturday, September 10 at The NIA in Birmingham.

Quadros is a legendary mixed martial arts commentator that has called some of the biggest fights internationally. He is best known for being the broadcast partner of the legendary Bas Rutten in Pride and as a commentator for Strikeforce. Quadros will be joining respected film writer, commentator, and journalist Malcom Martin this Saturday night to call the action for BAMMA 7. Fans will not want to miss this exciting night of fights.
