The UFC has confirmed Eric Schafer is replacing an injured Nick Catone and will meet Aaron Simpson at October’s UFC 136 event. The fight was originally scheduled to be Simpson vs. a returning Jason “Mayhem” Miller but Miller was pulled off the card once Chael Sonnen couldn’t get licensed to participate in the latest season of “The Ultimate Fighter.”
Simpson vs. Schafer is slated for the preliminary card and not pay per view.
