UFC 140: Nik Lentz to Face Mark Bocek

News

Will Cooling refers to him as the “luckiest fighter in the UFC,” but Nik Lentz doesn’t care. He’s still got a job and he’s undefeated in UFC since his debut. After a recent submission loss to Rafaello Oliveira was overturned into a no-contest due to an illegal knee strike, Lentz once again managed to keep his UFC record in tact. Now, he faces a test in lightweight Mark Bocek.

The submission specialist Bocek has recently run his record in the Octagon to 4-1 as of late, winning “Submission of the Night” honors in two recent fights. His only losses in the UFC now have to notables Ben Henderson (who defeated him via unanimous decision at UFC 129), Jim Miller, Mac Danzig and current UFC Lightweight champ Frankie Edgar, so one would have to think that this fight poses the stiffest test for Lentz to date.

December 10th is the date for UFC 140 and it takes place at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Canada.

Here is the latest UFC 140 Card:

Frank Mir vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Tito Ortiz
Brian Ebersole vs. Rory MacDonald
Mark Bocek vs. Nik Lentz
Rich Attonito vs. Claude Patrick
Dennis Hallman vs. John Makdessi
John Cholish vs. Mitch Clarke
