2011 NBA Season’s Start in Serious Trouble

News

After seeming progress was made in getting the full negotiating teams together yesterday, everything has seemingly fallen apart in the NBA Lockout negotiations.

“I think coming out of today, obviously because of the calendar, we can’t come out of here feeling as though training camps and the season is going to start on time at this point,” players’ association president Derek Fisher of the Lakers said.

The players have refused to meet again on Wednesday and there are no other scheduled dates to meet.  The owners refuse to move of their position of a soft cap, which the players won’t accept.
