Recently former talk show host and psychiatrist Dr. Keith Ablow suggested that children who watch Chaz Bono on Dancing With The Stars could be at risk of developing Gender Identity Disorder (GID).
In response, the American Psychiatric Association has said “There is no evidence that viewing a television game show with a transgender contestant would induce Gender Identity Disorder in young people.”
Seriously? If watching Chaz Bono is going to give you GID, then watching America’s Next Top Model should have made me a size 2 (still waiting!).
