Edge opens the show with a promo and promises Randy Orton and Mark Henry on a Cutting Edge later. Cody Rhodes comes out to accuse Edge of pandering to the crowd. Edge refuses a paper bag and as Cody leaves, he’s laid out by Ted Dibiase.
Sounds like a great segment to set up and Edge match, but I’m not sure what the point was otherwise.
Daniel Bryan beat Sin Cara by DQ when Sin Cara went overboard on Bryan. That lead to the original Sin Cara coming out and a staredown.
Good to see their MITB winner being sacrificed to these shenanigans. I also didn’t really ever need Mistico back.
Backstage we have Zack Ryder with Teddy Long and a waiver that says Henry and Orton can’t touch each other. Askana comes in to rub Teddy, but it’s broken up by Trish Stratus.

Beth Phoenix defeated AJ. Beth then cut a promo on Kelly Kelly.
Beth looks so weak now, this is too little too late.
Edge and Trish are talking backstage when Christian comes in and apologizes.
That heel turn didn’t last long.

Or, I guess Christian the heel needs to be fed to Sheamus first.
Khali defeated Heath Slater by DQ when Jinder Mahal attacked Khali.
Can’t they just air these segments in India where people care?

Edge had a Cutting Edge with Henry and Orton. After the segment ended, so did the no touch clause and Henry beat up Orton to wrap Smackdown.
I’d like to see Henry take the title.
