Derek Boyle Lands Flying Knee KO over Alex Popov at Rage in the Ring XV

News, Video

Last Friday, Alex Popov fought Derek Boyle for the Rage Pro Lightweight Title at Rage in the Ring 15 in Lethbridge, Alberta. Fans in attendance at the event, RAGE XV, were expecting a solid bout from both fighters but it was the 7-4 Boyle who walked away with a win after what is being called a “textbook flying knee” to earn his fourth win in his last five contests.

I would say “poor Alex Popov,” but sometimes you just get caught. Sucks.
