Kansas City Chiefs – 3, Detroit Lions – 48

Rhett Davis: Well the Bills win last week just looked a lot less impressive.  The Chiefs just cannot seem to get it together as a team that has always needed to get it together… is finally doing so.  The Lions looked impressive as they broke records for largest margin victory in Detroit’s history.  Without Jamaal Charles, Kansas City’s offense is looking paper thin.  Matt Stafford had another great game with 294 yards and 4 TD’s with two of them being to Calvin Johnson.

Daniels: The Chiefs went from “outside chance of winning the AFC West” to “done” in two weeks.  If Stafford stays healthy all year, this Lions team — who granted haven’t played a good, tough team yet — could be dangerous.

Glazer: The Chiefs look done.  They’re now missing 2 of their top 3 offensive players, as well as their top defensive player.  The Lions have been great thus far, but they beat a lost Chiefs and solid Buccs team.  The joys of being a weak team last year – the schedule is in their favor and next week they get a mediocre, at best, Vikings team.  Either way, even if their offense isn’t quite as good as it’s looked so far, their defense really is that good and I’d be far more surprised to see them out of the playoff than in.
